Our client is a boutique public relations agency known for delivering strategic, creative communications programs across consumer, healthcare, and lifestyle brands. With a reputation for thoughtful storytelling and strong client partnerships, the agency offers a collaborative environment with meaningful exposure to senior leadership.

They are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join their New York City team. This role is ideal for a PR professional ready to take on increased responsibility, mentor junior team members, and play a key role in shaping and executing client programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day‑to‑day execution of PR programs across consumer, healthcare, or lifestyle accounts
  • Draft and edit press releases, media pitches, briefing documents, and client communications
  • Lead proactive media outreach and cultivate relationships with relevant reporters and editors
  • Oversee media monitoring and reporting; analyze coverage and extract insights
  • Support campaign strategy, product launches, and events (virtual and in‑person)
  • Act as a key client contact, ensuring responsive communication and strong delivery
  • Mentor and review work from junior team members
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to inform recommendations

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of public relations experience, preferably within an agency environment
  • Experience in consumer, healthcare, or lifestyle communications
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated media relations experience and ability to secure coverage
  • Comfortable managing multiple workstreams and deadlines
  • Proactive, confident, and solutions‑oriented
  • Prior experience mentoring or managing junior team members is a plus
