Our client, a growing and well established B2B technology PR agency, is seeking an Account Manager to support a portfolio of innovative technology clients. This is a fully remote role ideal for an agency trained communications professional who enjoys client partnership, strategic storytelling, and hands on execution in a fast paced environment.
Role Overview
The Account Manager will serve as the day to day lead on multiple B2B technology accounts, managing media relations programs, client communications, and campaign execution. This role requires strong writing skills, media savvy, and the ability to balance strategy with execution while working collaboratively with internal teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day to day client relationships and serve as a trusted communications partner
Develop and execute PR programs focused on brand awareness, thought leadership, and media visibility
Lead media relations efforts, including pitching, follow‑ups, interview coordination, and coverage tracking
Draft and edit press releases, pitches, bylines, contributed articles, media briefs, and messaging materials
Support executive visibility and thought leadership initiatives
Coordinate internal teams and guide junior staff to ensure deliverables and timelines are met
Monitor industry, media, and competitor activity to inform proactive storytelling
Prepare client updates, reports, and performance recaps
Contribute ideas for campaigns, story angles, and proactive media opportunities
Qualifications
3-6 years of public relations experience, ideally within a PR agency
Experience supporting B2B technology clients (SaaS, enterprise software, AI, data, cybersecurity, fintech, or emerging tech)
Proven success securing earned media and building journalist relationships
Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
Comfort managing multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote setting
Nice to Have
Experience working with VC‑backed or high‑growth technology companies
Familiarity with top‑tier business, tech, and trade media
Exposure to integrated communications programs
Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
