About the role
For Mars, we are looking for a Global Treasury Control & Reporting Senior Analyst who will play a key role within the Global Treasury Operations team. In this position, you will contribute to managing global treasury processes and ensuring strong governance and control over financial activities.
The team processes large cash volumes on a daily basis and performs various risk management and control activities. Your work will directly contribute to minimizing financial risks and ensuring compliance across the organization.
You will be part of an international team (Netherlands, France, and the US) with a diverse level of experience, where collaboration and continuous improvement are central.
What will you do?
In this role, you will be responsible for a broad range of treasury and control activities, including:
- Managing and analyzing cash reports (e.g. daily cash reporting, cash forecasting, and idle cash analysis)
- Leading the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliance area, including:
- User access reviews
- PCI scorecard preparation
- Self-attestation processes
- Coordinating internal control self-testing within Global Treasury
- Reviewing manual payments for accuracy and compliance
- Supporting Power Platform solutions (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate):
- Optimizing dashboards
- Updating and improving flows
- Resolving issues
- Supporting intercompany loan management and period-end closing processes
- Participating in treasury-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives
What do you bring?
Must-haves:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance/treasury
- Strong treasury knowledge and experience
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken); Dutch is not required
- Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, and/or Power Automate)
- Proactive and independent working style
Nice to have:
- Experience with PCI Compliance
- Knowledge of SAP
