We are looking for a Quality Control Technician to join our team at our production location in Haarlem

Your responsibilities

• Routine testing of samples during the production process and the final product, according to the analytical instructions (SOP) and within the set time limits
• Handle results that deviate or are out of specification in accordance with the quality management system (Phase 1 research)
• Writing, reviewing and approving test results
• Comply with company policies and regulations when performing work and making decisions
• Consult, interpret and verify the quality of test results, apply root cause analysis, and actively participate in complex problem solving
• Perform initial problem analysis of laboratory equipment in case of problems
• Working in 24/7 shifts

Your profile

• MLO+ / HBO / Bachelor's degree in analytical chemistry or pharma chemistry, or comparable experience
• Knowledge and experience in using the Pharmacopoeia methods
• A strong analytically oriented mind set
• Experience working in a pharmaceutical environment
• Experience with analytical techniques, such as UPLC/HPLC, TOC and PSD
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical quality systems and production processes, preferably working under GMP, is an advantage
• Team player
• Result and solution oriented

Shift pattern 24/7

New recruits start with 8 weeks of training in dayshift (Mon-Fri, start between 07:00 and 09:00, ending 8:30hr later) Approx. 40/Hr per week.

After which they start in the 24/7 shift, which is two morning shifts ("O") from 07:00-15:30, then two evening shifts ("M") 15:00-23:30, then two night shifts ("N") from 23:00-07:30. So following a pattern of six days working and followed by four days off, repeated every 10 days.
