About the Role

A leading global biopharmaceutical organization is seeking an experienced Laboratory Systems Specialist to support a major Paperless Lab initiative within an Advanced Therapies Quality Control environment. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will serve as the key link between laboratory operations and digital systems, helping transform paper-based testing processes into compliant digital workflows. You will work closely with laboratory SMEs, Quality, Validation, IT, and Operations teams to drive the implementation, standardization, and continuous improvement of digital laboratory processes

Key Responsibilities

• Drive harmonization and digitalization of laboratory methods currently executed on paper worksheets
• Create, configure, and maintain method execution templates within the LIMS environment
• Collaborate with laboratory SMEs to convert testing methods into digital workflows
• Support change control impact assessments and implementation activities
• Design, maintain, and validate master data used in digital laboratory processes
• Create and update technical documentation in line with harmonization and standardization procedures
• Manage updates and enhancements to existing digital methods
• Support the setup, testing, and validation of LIMS-to-instrument interfaces
• Deliver training and guidance to laboratory users on newly deployed digital methods
• Act as the primary point of contact for laboratory questions regarding paperless workflows and digital systems
• Work closely with Quality, Validation, IT, and Operations teams to ensure compliant implementation

Who We're Looking For

You are an experienced laboratory professional with a strong background in LIMS, digital laboratory systems, and regulated environments. You understand both laboratory operations and system implementation, allowing you to bridge the gap between scientific processes and digital solutions. You enjoy driving process improvements, stakeholder engagement, and system adoption within complex organizations.

Must-Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Analytical Testing, Laboratory Informatics, or related laboratory environments
• Experience working within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, cell & gene therapy, or other highly regulated industries
• Strong experience with LIMS platforms, preferably LabVantage
• Experience as a Key User, Business Administrator, Super User, SME, or System Owner of laboratory systems
• Experience supporting laboratory digitalization, process improvement, or paperless lab initiatives
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience creating or maintaining laboratory execution templates, workflows, or master data
• Fluent in English

Preferred

• Experience within Advanced Therapies, Cell & Gene Therapy, or Biologics environments
• Hands-on experience with LabVantage LIMS
• Experience connecting laboratory instruments to LIMS systems
• Experience supporting validation activities and data integrity initiatives
• Familiarity with GMP and laboratory compliance requirements
• Experience training laboratory users and supporting system deployments
• Participation in process harmonization, continuous improvement, or laboratory transformation projects
