The Role
This is a senior, business-facing Product Owner / Design Lead/Architect role responsible for driving end-to-end planning process design across a complex S/4HANA programme.
You will operate at the intersection of business and technology - owning requirements, guiding design decisions, and ensuring seamless integration between S/4 and advanced planning systems.
Key Responsibilities

- Drive end-to-end supply/demand and production planning design across Plan-Source-Make
- Own requirements gathering, documentation, and backlog management (JIRA)
- Facilitate design workshops and solution confirmation sessions with global stakeholders
- Define and document RICEF objects and work closely with technical teams for delivery
- Represent planning design at architecture/design authority boards (TAB)
- Guide integration of APS systems (OMP, Blue Yonder, APO) into S/4HANA
- Collaborate with procurement and manufacturing stakeholders to ensure aligned solutions
- Support deployment of new capabilities (MRP, predictive MRP, PPDS, DDMRP)
Required Experience
- Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Planning (PLAN)
- Deep knowledge of:
- MRP, pMRP, PPDS, DDMRP
- Procurement & Production Planning
- Planning Master Data (Material Master, Source Lists, etc.)
- Proven experience integrating APS tools (OMP, Blue Yonder, APO) with S/4
- Experience leading design workshops and global template design
- Background in business process design / solution architecture (non-technical)
- Hands-on experience delivering S/4HANA transformation programmes
- Ability to operate at senior stakeholder level / independently
Nice to Have
- Experience within MedTech / Life Sciences
- Previous exposure to large global transformation programmes
- Familiarity with SAP Signavio or process modelling concepts
- Certifications such as PMI, APICS (CSAP), or equivalent
- Prior experience within similar enterprise environments
What We're Looking For
- A senior planning SME who understands both business processes and S/4 capabilities
- Someone who can own design decisions and represent the function at leadership level
