Project Manager - Supply Chain PMO
Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Project Manager to join the Supply Chain PMO team. This role is focused on execution at the subsystem level and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and can independently drive project deliverables under the direction of a senior Program Manager.
The Project Manager will own execution activities for specific subsystem releases and support cross-functional coordination across supply chain, manufacturing, quality, sourcing, planning, and delivery functions. This is not a senior strategic PM role - we are specifically seeking strong executors who can keep projects on track, manage timelines, and drive completion with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive execution for subsystem-level project releases within the Supply Chain PMO organization
- Manage timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple workstreams
- Execute projects under the direction of a Program Manager with limited handholding
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project and Gantt charts
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including:
- Quality
- Manufacturing
- Sourcing
- Planning
- Delivery / Logistics
- Engineering
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and product launch activities for their subsystem
- Drive execution readiness for manufacturing and supply chain initiatives
- Track action items, escalations, and project health metrics
- Apply Agile project management methodologies where appropriate
- Ensure projects align with regulatory and operational requirements within a regulated industry environment
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments
- Experience supporting:
- New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Product launches
- Manufacturing operations
- Experience managing complex capital equipment or systems - MUST
- Strong execution and coordination skills at the subsystem/workstream level
- Ability to take direction from senior PM leadership while independently driving deliverables
- Proficiency with:
- Agile methodologies
- Microsoft Project
- Gantt chart management
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred, but not Required Qualifications
- PMP certification
- Experience with:
- Site transfer projects
- Technology transfer initiatives
- Site expansion programs
