Real Japan turns 5 – A big thank you to all of our customers!
It is Real Japan’s 5th Birthday this 2018!
To honor this special milestone, we held a celebratory event at The Grand Ginza, GINZA SIX. It was an opportunity for us to show our appreciation to both our staff and partners of the business for their support. 2018 has already been an exciting year full of great achievements. We’ve been able to partner with more clients than ever before, maintain exisiting relationships, create new partnerships within the industries which we operate in and more importantly, grow the business.
Tim Moran, Regional Director of the APAC region flew down to Tokyo to commemorate this special milestone with the team and our customers. It was a night of great food and company. Our clients were also able to make use of this opportunity to meet key leaders in our business while Grant Habgood, Managing Director of the Japan office shared about the vision of the company as well as future growth plans.

“We’ve come a long way thanks to the amazing people who are committed to making our business amazing. We now have consistency in our sales results month to month, the average per consultant contribution or yield that is currently the best it has been in our history and this is across a much bigger team now of over 40 people. The journey is far from complete, and as a business we are continuously looking at ways to improve the customer experience we provide to our candidates and clients and we try to look at different ways where we can constantly innovate to stay ahead of the curve.”
From a budding start-up of 3 to a team close to 50 now, our Japan team has always consistently worked towards growth by analysing their performance, collating customer feedback and putting them into actionable improvements.
Proud to have established itself as a leading medium-sized STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) specialist, they have achieved year-on-year growth with 3 well-performing sub brands – Computer Futures, Real Life Sciences and Huxley – which are part of the larger SThree Group.
Recognised for providing only the best service to their customers, the team also achieved fantastic accolades this year. Earlier in June, they were awarded 2 major titles at Recruitment International (RI) for being the recruitment company of the year for the Lifesciences and IT industries respectively.
This celebration also serves a testament to the great work our people have put into achieving the success team has today.
Once again, we’d like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this day a successful one and we look forward to the many more partnerships in the future.
